So, on Friday, November 11 at approximately 10:00p, we decided to list our house for sale. It's a bittersweet measure as I reflect on the moments that mean so much. We brought our babies home here. They had their "firsts" here. I got the call my Grandma passed while laying in that living room. We found out we were pregnant after losing a baby in our very bathroom. I turned 30 here. Ty turned 40 here (well, in Vegas, but you get the picture). Milestones.
I try to remind myself that these memories will pack up just like the China and come with me to the next house where we'll open a new chapter. Closing the one of all things pregnancy, baby, new family, etc., we open the one of grade school, dances, little league and such.
Like I said. Bittersweet.
But, as we travel across town to a new, warm, loving home, I'm reminded of all the new projects I'll get to document on this blog!! New things to upholster.... to paint... oh my!
So, as I close on this Sunday night (the eve of my 31st birthday -- good heavens --), I am peaceful in this move. Not so much on where we are moving as my head is pounding at the mere thought of our continued search for the "new" home.
Happy Monday!

Oh our little chunk.
He is but a great baby. Make sure he's dry, fed, and napped... oh, and not in the carseat and he's an angel. So grateful to be able to enjoy him!!
What's he been up to? We're rolling over, standing up, holding our head, etc. All those developmental milestones. The more entertaining things are:
-grunting while eating
-yelling when Nash and Witt are carrying on in a sort of "don't leave me out" manner
-drooling like a mad man. A big shout out to those teeth... you haven't made your appearance and I already hate you.
-he's been introduced to the "circle of neglect" as named by a girlfriend of mine.
-he is LOVING his Bjorn. it's magic. ;P
He's a hoot.
Here's a Knox medley for your viewing pleasure. Again, let me apologize for the cruddy pictures:

Weighing in at a whopping almost 15 lbs, he's my little butterball. :)
Gearing up for the Holidays -- and stuff.
Trying to manage a blog --- for fun is WAAAY more difficult than I thought. At the end of the day I've ran miles chasing Nash around and my back is throbbing from carrying around "Chunk" that I collapse in exhaustion curling up with my new book rather than getting on the Mac and telling it like it is.
I imagine one day I'll be able to have my blogs written through osmosis. Ha!
What have we been up to?
Let's start post #1 with Nash:
He enjoyed his first Halloween carving Mickey-themed pumpkins, picking out his Halloween costumes and getting to "crick-o-teat" the neighborhood and Daddy's office. He got a HUGE kick outta the whole "knock-on-the-door-and-they-give-you-candy" scenario. Now if I could only get him to realize that, that lasts just one day and then we move on ;)
---excuse the iphone pictures. i live by that thing. if it weren't for that stupid electronic that plaques me, i'd have no pictures of my children's daily lives.
He got his first shiner in a battle with the slide at the Park. We live to see another bruise and bump... I assure you. Ahhh... boys.
He recently had a duet with "T-Sissy". Got that golden nugget on video. Precious? yes. Able to carry a tune? Hell no. Either one of them:
He was captured in front of a very 80's backdrop in his first school picture. Oh my, Mommy can't wait to share this one at his high school graduation slide show. LOL
And then, most recently, he's discovered my makeup drawer asking me to put mascara on him:
Due up next.
